Mrs. Silverman is the founder of A Package From Home, a grass-roots philanthropic organization operating in Jerusalem. They send care packages to soldiers in the IDF to show solidarity and to than them for the sacrifices they are making on behalf of the State of Israel. Since 2001, approximately 125,000 packages have been sent, including 22,000 over the 32 days of last summer's war in Lebanon. Mrs. Silberman will speak about this amazing organization and the importance of supporting the young men & women protecting the State of Israel.
